If you are looking for a decent cd player and all your looking for is something to listen to your cds (burnt as well) it's an excellent player. My parents bought mine for me about 6 years ago and it works like new to this day. It shows the titles on the screen and lights up so you can see in the dark. If you have a car kit it hooks up excellent. Just be sure to have the volume on the player turned all the way up otherwise it will sound wierd.
I never had issues with the headphones. They aren't the best in the world but they play decent. Plus I think the player puts out excellent sound quality anyway.
I know I'm just one reveiw right now but I've enjoyed owning this player and have every intentions of getting one for my husband this Christmas.
